Prior joining the firm Swati served as Senior Corporate Counsel at Amazon India where she was managing disputes in relation to the Amazon Marketplace, Amazon Pay, Amazon Web Services, Prime Video and Amazon Development Center. She has advised on a gamut of complex issues relating to consumer protection laws, food laws, drugs and cosmetic laws, legal metrology laws, cyber security laws, fintech disputes and related aspects of intermediary liabilities. She has worked on regulatory issues before the Enforcement Directorate, Economic Offences Wing and Narcotics Control Bureau. She has also led a large number of internal investigations along with the compliance business compliance teams of the organization.
