Sarika Raichur is a Partner at the firm in the General Corporate and Private Equity Practice Areas and is based in its Chennai office.
She has vast experience, spanning over 19 years, working with leading law firms and organizations including Noerr LLP, a leading pan-European law firm at its London office as a member of its India Group and an in-house legal counsel at ADM Capital, Asia’s largest distressed asset private equity fund. As a member of the India Group of Noerr LLP, Sarika collaborated across their offices in Germany, Central and East European region, Russia, UK and US on M&A, joint ventures and general corporate and commercial advisory assignments involving an Indian element. As an in-house counsel at ADM Capital, she managed several turnaround investment transactions and special situation investment transactions end-to-end, including pre and post investment restructuring of portfolio companies, in close coordination with investment teams and external counsel.
Sarika advises domestic and international clients on a variety of corporate and commercial matters. She regularly advises on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, private equity, venture capital, venture debt, divestitures, business transfers, asset sales and fund structuring and set up mandates, besides setting up business in India, franchise and distribution, shareholders’ and investment disputes, corporate governance, corporate restructuring, family trusts and restructuring of family asset holdings and a wide range of general corporate, commercial, data privacy, employment and regulatory issues.
