Devesh has over 10 years of rich and diverse experience in corporate and commercial law as well as regulatory matters. He has advised Indian and foreign corporates, entrepreneurs, startups, non-profit entities on a broad range of legal, regulatory and governance issues including business structuring, direct investments, private and public mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, joint ventures, legal due diligence, corporate restructuring, company formation, setting up of branch and liaison offices in India and overseas, corporate governance, regulatory investigations, exchange control laws, compounding of offences, and various other allied corporate and commercial law matters, and ancillary matters thereto. His industry experience includes among others, e-commerce, manufacturing, consulting, infrastructure, retail, entertainment, financial services and technology.

Devesh has represented clients before various regulatory authorities including Registrar of Companies, Regional Directors, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Enforcement Directorate, Reserve Bank of India, Securities and Exchange Board of India, Stock Exchanges, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Department of Telecommunications, Director General of Foreign Trade in relation to various matters such as for obtaining regulatory approvals and clarifications, in matters of compounding and consent applications etc.
