Arvind regularly represents public and private companies, private equity firms in domestic and cross-border mergers, stock and asset acquisition and divestitures; pharmaceutical product acquisitions and licenses; joint ventures and strategic alliances; corporate recapitalisations and reorganisations; private equity and mezzanine financings; commercial contracts, including development agreements, manufacturing and supply agreements and license agreements; and General corporate and commercial matters.
He focusses in healthcare, financial services, media and mining and he has advised clients which includes Mitsui, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Denso, Sumitomo, Sandvik, Takeda, Monsanto, Fresenius, Kongsberg Marine, Par Formulations, Novo Nordisk, Carlsberg, Motorola, Heidelberg, Mankind Pharma, Chemours, Videocon, JK Tyres and Coal India.
He has also advised in rewriting the mining laws of the country and has advised on auction of some of the largest mining blocks, mineral and coal auctions.
Recently, Arvind has advised setting up of Oriental InfraTrust, a private InvIT, in accordance with the SEBI (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014, to transfer the road projects to the InvIT by way of a 100% share sale. This is one of the first of its kind transaction in the country.
