Ameya holds a graduate degree in law from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore and a post graduate degree in law from The George Washington University Law School, Washington D.C where he was a Thomas Buergenthal Scholar. Ameya has earlier been an independent practitioner and appeared as lead Counsel for his clients before various forums.
