A graduate from the first batch of the premier National Law School of India, Bangalore, Ajit has been practising at the Bar since 1993. Ajit regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, other High Courts, tribunals and appellate bodies in Civil and Corporate litigations, at original and appellate levels. He has extensive experience in handling contractual, corporate and commercial disputes across a range of sectors — infrastructure, engineering, oil & gas and real estate, among others. He also advises clients on diverse issues such as contractual claims, shareholder and joint venture disputes, white collar crimes, debt recovery, consumer litigation, writ petitions etc.
Ajit has been involved in the successful resolution of complex litigations and international commercial arbitrations. He has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution and has represented companies in ad hoc and institutional arbitrations, both domestic and before international bodies, such as SIAC, LCIA and ICA, among others.
