Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. acted as legal counsel to OMERS Infrastructure (“OMERS”) as to Indian laws on its acquisition of 19.4% equity stake in Azure Power Global Limited from International Finance Corporation and IFC GIF Investment Company. The deal is valued at US$ 219 million, approximately. The date of closing was 6 August, 2021.
