Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advises India Cleantech Energy to issue green bonds bearing a coupon rate of 4.7% due 2026 (“Notes”) listed on the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited. The deal is valued at US$ 334 million. The closing was on 10 August, 2021.
Proceeds from the offering will be used by India Cleantech Energy to subscribe to rupee denominated non-convertible debentures to be issued by twelve special purpose vehicles in India, which will use the proceeds primarily to repay their existing indebtedness.
