Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised GR Infraprojects Limited in sub-licensing the concession granted by the National Highways Logistics Management Limited for the Multi Modal Logistics Park (“MMLP”) in Indore to Ameya Logistics Private Limited (affiliated to the Port Singapore Authority). The total project cost of MMLP is INR 758 Crores.
This sub-license is in respect of the operation and maintenance of the Depot Terminal Project including ICD, PFT and rail terminal operations.
MMLPs are relatively new concepts under PM Modi’s Bharatmala’s Pariyojana and aimed to bolster connectivity in India and be a major fulcrum to India’s economic growth. The Indore MMLP is the 3rd of such MMLPs, and this sub-license is the first of its kind.
