Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas advises YES Bank regarding financial assistance to Nhava Sheva Distribution Terminal Private Limited

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised YES Bank in granting financial assistance to Nhava Sheva Distribution Terminal Private Limited by way of a rupee term loan facility. The assistance was done for the purpose of, part financing the upgradation, equipping, operation, maintenance, and transfer of Shallow Water Berth (SWB) facility and a newly constructed Coastal Berth (CB) on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis, through Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode. The deal was valued at approximately USD 2.4 billion and the expected date of closing the deal was 15th March’ 2023.
