Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas advises Mankind Pharma Limited on its initial public offering of equity shares aggregating to ₹ 4,326.35 crore

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised Mankind Pharma Limited on its initial public offering (IPO) of equity shares, comprising an offer for sale by promoter-selling shareholders and private equity investors (affiliates of Chrys Capital and Capital Group). The deal was valued at ₹ 4,326.35 crore and the equity shares are proposed to be listed on the BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited on 9th May 2023.

This is India’s largest IPO by size thus far in calendar year 2023. The IPO was subscribed over 15 times overall and the qualified institutional buyer’s component was subscribed over 49 times.
