Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited to acquire their new headquarters in a project undertaken by the Marathon Group being Marathon Futurex located at, Lower Parel, Mumbai. The date of closing the deal was January 2022. The deal is valued at USD 11,372,141 approximately.
The transaction was structured taking into consideration that the subsisting mortgage created by financial institutions and approvals required from them for the sale of the said premises.
The transaction team was led by Bhoumick Vaidya, Partner; Sanchi Bansal, Associate; and Nishi Bharatiya, Associate.
