Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas advised Petronet LNG Limited, India’s largest liquefied natural gas importer, in the setting up of an LNG storage and regasification terminal at Gopalpur Port in Orrisa. The deal is valued at approximately USD 277 million.
This terminal will be the first to be set up at the recently constructed Gopalpur Port.
The Infrastructure, Energy and Project Finance team was led by Partners,V.R. Neelakantan and Prashant Sirohi; and Associate, Rudra Shankar.
Gopalpur Ports Limited was advised by Quillon Partners on the legal advisory aspects.
