Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM & Co) has advised Grofers and its founders for its Series F Fund raising round of approximately USD 250 million which was led by its largest shareholder, SoftBank Vision Fund.
Grofers India owns and operates the web and app based platform ‘Grofers’ and recently closed its Series F round of investment from its existing investors including SoftBank, Tiger Global and Sequoia and also saw participation from new investors such as South Korean fund KTB Network, Abu Dhabi Capital Group and Bennett, Coleman & Company Limited.
SAM & Co has previously also advised the Grofers Group in its Series C, Series D and Series E rounds of investments.
The Firm’s General Corporate team was led by Ms. Puja Sondhi, Partner; Mr. Sumeet Singh, Partner; Ms. Karuna Thapa, Principal Associate; Mr. Anish Jaipuriar, Senior Associate; and Ms. Surabhi Gupta, Associate.
