Submission of information to the office of informant protection
December 26, 2019Pursuant to the amendments to the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations 2015 relating to the new Informant Mechanism and Informant Reward provisions coming into force w.e.f 26 December 2019, SEBI has informed that Voluntary Information Disclosure Forms (VID Forms) will be available for downloading on the SEBI website from December 26, 2019 under the ‘Office of Informant Protection (OIP)’ link. The filled up VID Form(s) may be submitted to the OIP on the address displayed on the download page in a sealed envelope. An online mechanism to submit VID Forms is likely to be operational in due course.
