The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India (“Supreme Court”) has upheld the Central Government’s plan for construction of the Central Vista project. The Supreme Court in this case dealt with a wide array of issues concerning the decisions taken by the authorities including the change in land use, grant of statutory and other permissions, environmental as well as heritage clearances etc. for expansion and
renovation of the existing Parliament buildings.
