CCI publishes draft regulations on commitments and settlements
August 24, 2023The Competition Commission of India has published for comments separate draft regulations for Commitments and Settlements proceedings under the Competition Act, 2002.
The Competition Amendment Act, 2023 introduced the Commitments and Settlements regime into the Competition Act. However, the relevant provisions are yet to enter into force and these regulations are the first step towards their eventual implementation.
Comments to the draft regulations may be submitted exclusively through forms on the CCI’s website by 13 September 2023.
