Our Managing Partner Pallavi Shroff, conducted a fireside chat with Suneeta Reddy and Shobana Kamineni, Managing Director and Executive Vice Chairperson, respectively, of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited. Suneeta and Shobana spoke about a wide range of aspects that have helped build India’s leading healthcare services organisation. They also spoke at length about tremendous role played by their parents in their success. Further elaborating, they shared their experiences on maintaining a balance between their personal and professional lives, and their success in nurturing crucial enabling factors such as building trust and constant nurturing a set of values that have played an enabling role in strengthening Apollo’s position as India’s largest hospital chains and healthcare conglomerate.

 

They shared insights on the group’s focus on tier 2 and tier 3 cities and the challenges it has met in its pursuit to deliver high quality healthcare services in these areas. They also highlighted how in the challenging times prevailing currently, it had become even more important to make healthcare more accessible and affordable, which would benefit tremendously by increased investment in healthcare.
