Partner Shahana Chatterjee was a keynote speaker and panelist at the CII Conference on Privacy : Navigating the Future of Data Protection held on 30th August 2024 at Taj City Centre, Gurugram. She was part of a session on, “Role of Privacy Enhancing Technologies for Compliance and Elevating Trust.”
During her address, Shahana spoke of the various ways in which the DPDP Act will trigger faster digital transformation for entities across India, who will need to adopt technological tools for ensuring compliance with their ongoing obligations as data fiduciaries.
She further stressed on the role that the DPDP Act will play in the deployment of technology. Shahana highlighted how going forward, entities will need to rapidly procure and use privacy-enhancing tools in their business operations.
