“Principal Associate, Prakhar Deep was recently invited to speak at a seminar organized by the Indian Institute of Materials Management. The seminar, aimed at addressing key issues related to procurement contracts in India, provided a platform for industry professionals to discuss and explore various aspects of contract management and dispute resolution.
Prakhar’s session, titled “Dispute Resolution in Contract – Liquidated Damages and Other Damages,” highlighted the critical differences between liquidated and unliquidated damages, offering insights into their application in dispute resolution. Prakhar also guided the participants on the essential steps to be taken when invoking the liquidated damages clause, emphasizing the importance of clear contract terms and diligent contract management.”
