Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co in association with Jindal Global Law School organised a conference on “ADR in India: mapping the way forward”. Discussion at the conference focused aspects related to commercial arbitration proceedings, institutionalisation of arbitration, arbitral advocacy and the emerging practice of mediation.
The conference provided valuable insights for law students and young practitioners, the future flag bearers of ADR. Our Head of Arbitration, Tejas Karia moderated a panel discussion on ‘Arbitral Practice and Advocacy’. Ila Kapoor, Partner-Arbitration moderated a panel discussion on ‘Institutionalisation of Arbitration: Boon or bane?’ Aashish Gupta, Partner, Dispute Resolution and Avlokita Rajvi, Associate participated in a panel discussion on ‘Arbitral Process: Steps and Challenges’.
