Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co (SAM & Co) acted as counsel to Apollo Tyres Ltd. in relation to the proposed issuance of convertible instruments leading to the acquisition of a minority stake of 9.93% by Warburg Pincus in Apollo Tyres Ltd. SAM & Co advised on all legal aspects of the transaction including structuring, advisory, negotiations and execution of the transaction documents. The deal is valued at approx. USD 150 Million and has been signed on 27 February, 2020.
