The first edition of the FinTech Moot court competition was recently held at National Law School of India University, Bengaluru organised by the firm. The event, inaugurated by Shilpa Mankar Ahluwalia, Partner that took place on 14 September 2024, at the NLSIU campus in Bengaluru. A total of 36 teams registered, with 24 teams advancing to the oral rounds. Ultimately, NALSAR Hyderabad emerged as the winner of the competition. The competition’s final bench comprised distinguished persons from the legal community. Senior Advocates Sajan Poovayya, Jayna Kothari and Madhavi Divan; Dean of Vinayaka Mission’s Law School Ananth Padmanabhan; and SAM & Co. Partner Shilpa Mankar Ahluwalia were the judges.
In an effort to inspire the next generation of legal professionals, the firm not only offered internship opportunities to the members of the winning team but also extended the same to the runner-ups.
Overall, this event provided a platform for students from leading colleges to showcase their legal expertise in the field of FinTech and gain valuable experience through internships offered by the firm.
